This year the Deacon's 5K Fun Run/Walk will be to raise funds for an organization researching potential cures and support for families who have a child with INAD

Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD) is a rare neurodegenerative disease (perhaps 250 cases worldwide) that often cuts short the life span of a child to 10 years. With a typical onset at 6 months of age, INAD is characterized by regression of acquired motor skills, delayed motor coordination and eventual loss of voluntary muscle.

Unfortunetly, one of our own families is dealing with their young daughter having this disease.

Registrations for the walk/run are available here

And those who would like to help with all the details can contact Bill Henderson or Travis Moses-Westphal to offer to "make a difference"!

It will be a wonderful but emotional day. Get ready!
